“Monday, May 21 beginning at 1pm Northwestern University students, faculty, and staff will recreate conceptual artist Allan Kaprow’s seminal happening/performance work “Fluids” on the plaza just outside The Block Museum of Art.
The Ice Man Cometh at 1pm; will take about 2-3 hours to complete; students will read from Kaprow’s writings at around 4pm.
For no more than 48 hours, visitors and passers-by will encounter two monumental cubic structures made of approximately 375 block of ice. Each cube will measure about 10 feet in length and width and 8 feet in height.”
Cool, man. But, I think seeing the repetition of the blocks is making me dizzy. I have to go.
Well this is fun.
